David Crespo Godoy, born in Córdoba, Argentina, has been living 2 to 3 years in different countries since finishing High School in Australia where he lived as an exchange student for one year (1990); encouraged by his parents, both business people, David pursued an international life, gaining intercultural experiences and different insights into the organizational development of institutions in different contexts.
David completed a bachelor degree in agricultural studies focused on management in Honduras (Central America) at EAP Zamorano (www.zamorano.edu); then, after gaining little experience in a US based consultancy firm, moved to Costa Rica and completed a full time two years MBA as well as a Master in Resources Administration in INCAE Business School (www.incae.edu).
In February 2000, after having acquired additional experience as consultant and working with the Internal Revenue Service of USA, David created DMIM Corp., (DHIM) his own consultancy business focused on starting up businesses for Latin American investors and/or immigrants to USA. Later, the firm has been renamed as DHRIM (Development of Human Resources & Inner Management).
Coming from a business family (air/land transport and hospitality industries), it was a very rewarding experience to be setting up different businesses in USA, mainly in the service industry. Since then, David has been setting up new business and turning around organizations in crisis, gaining further experience in organizational development from a top management perspective as Executive Director of the client´s organizations in USA, Argentina, Bolivia and India.
Furthermore, David developed a special interest for creating and developing workshops, acquiring a specialty in education for adults at the Catholic University of Bolivia (www.ucb.edu.bo) and a specialty on online teaching from Inwent (www.inwent.de). Since 2003, he has created and delivered many workshops to achieve the goals in organizational development as well as in when setting up new organizations.
Over the years, and especially in the time David lived in India, he gained a deeper understanding of how organizations behave and how to promote a positive organizational change in a relatively short period of time and providing opportunities for people to develop a more prosperous life.
Today, David engages in few selected consultancy services to set up new organizations (for Profit or Non Profit) and in crisis management situations. Also, creates and organizes workshops for special organizational needs or general purposes and delivers them as part of the consultancy services or under the Social Projects for the benefit of the community.
