What are the benefits of this workshop? The Benefits of this workshop are very numerous, below are listed a few that are the most common ones:
3. How this workshop has been design? This workshop has been designed using the constructivist model in which the students learn new concepts and acquire skills in a practical way by applying it in their lives. In addition, other designed tools have been used to develop the logical sequence of the modules to maximize the learning experience. To know more about this issue click here!. 4. For what audience this workshop is adequate? The workshop has been designed for adults from various backgrounds in terms of education, profession, culture and social status. The workshop has been designed to suit the participants needs based on their individual conditions. This workshop has not been designed for physically challenged people. 5. How much time this workshop requires to cover it fully? The time required to cover a module is usually 2 hours plus 1-2 hours of individual study. It total, the workshop has 8 modules, that is 16 hours plus a minimum of 8 hours of study in a span of 2 months when is eLearning and one week when is face to face. 6. On what dates and where is given the course? The internet based workshop is provided once every 2-3 months and it is given on a weekly basis, one module per week. To the exact dates, you may go to our elearning platform: http://edu.dhrim.org The face to face workshop is generally provided at the request of companies that would like to benefit their personnel. In some occasions, companies allow others to participate in order to reduce their costs per person. A minimum of 7 people is required to organize the workshop in this way. To know more about this issue, click here!. 7. For how many people is this workshop? To keep a good quality of the workshop, it is allowed a maximum of 33 people, a minimum of 7 people. In the case of elearning, there is a maximum of 15 participants and we organize study groups of 3 to 5 people. In the course, there are elearning tools that are shared by many people (i.e. forums, quizzes) and others by a limited number to ensure a good quality standards in terms of learning. 8. Can this workshop be customized? Yes. This workshop has been customized several times to address the consulting needs while providing Organizational Development services to our clients. 10. What makes this workshop better than others? This workshop has a unique design that ensures a very effective learning under the constructivist model. What students value most is the fact that they are using the knowledge and skills in their real life situations and getting out of the workshop with some form of solutions to their needs. In the case of elearning, we are providing a form of coaching as part of the normal content structure and a follow up module that is delivered 2-3 months after the workshop has ended. This strategy helps students in determining key points of improvement and for us to keep improving our workshop. 11. What is an “academic hour”? Hours of coursework towards academic credit. In the case of our workshop, currently we don´t have a co validation system with a university. 12. How much additional time it is required for home assignments, reading, etc.? Per module it is required one hour of time to read, prepare for the next sessions, complete assignments etc. We provide complementary reading materials for those who want to learn more and have more than one additional hour per module to dedicate to their studies. 13. Do I get a certificate? Yes. You get a certificate at the last day of the workshop. In the case of elearning, the certificate is sent in digital form and the original is sent by mail. 14. If we are two or a group, is there any financial consideration? Yes. You may send your request here! Please, fill the form mentioning how many of you will be participating. In the case of elearning, please mention if you will be sharing the same computer for chat sessions or conferences. 16. Can I withdraw from the course if I don’t like it? Yes. However, there are no refunds available except in the case of elearning where a fee of 40.00 Euros is retained to cover administrative, financial and logistic expenses. There are no refunds if the student withdraws after the completion of the first module or after the 10th day counting from the preparatory session. 17. Can I postpone my participation in the course? Yes. There are no additional charges for this service, however, it will be required for the student to participate again from the beginning of the workshop if he/she has postponed his/her class before finishing the fourth module.
